Project Story

My first woodworking project. At the time I built this table I didn’t have any tools besides the table saw I newly purchased, a few small clamps, a rubber mallet, a cheap hand-sanding block, and a saw-horse set. I didn’t have a planer, orbital sander, large clamps. I also didn’t have any technique or knowledge of wood and woodworking, building, or finishing (as can be seen by my stripping of an improperly applied finish at the end of the project - at which point I bought my first orbital sander, and stripping my thickly applied finish was still a daunting chore). I learned a lot! - mostly that this was a fun newfound hobby that I wanted to continue.
